General Wellness Services
Routine care can help you anticipate potential health problems, avoid costly treatments, and increase your pet’s chances of spending a long, happy life by your side. For most cats, we recommend regular check-ups and vaccines to make sure they stay healthy. But your cat’s wellness visit includes so much more:
Comprehensive Exam
An annual cute-nose-to-furry-tail comprehensive exam evaluates your cat’s weight, mood, and physical condition and sets a standard for their overall well-being.
Vaccinations
We offer cat and kitten vaccinations, including rabies, panleukopenia (distemper), feline leukemia, and others based on your pet’s lifestyle.
Behavior Evaluation & Advice
Our medical team can help determine if your cat’s behaviors (or changes in behavior) are related to a medical condition. For cats who are acting out due to depression, anger, or anxiety, they can offer advice and resources to curb those behaviors and encourage healthy activities.
Coat and Skin Evaluation & Treatment
Whether their fur is long and fluffy or short and slick, the condition of your cat’s coat and skin is an important indicator of their overall health. We’ll assess abnormalities, provide diagnostic plans, and suggest treatments to help if your cat has an itchy, scratchy, scaly condition that’s keeping them from being comfortable.
Gastrointestinal Illness Diagnosis & Treatment
Vomiting, diarrhea, and constant hairballs aren’t normal. Whether your kitty has tummy or intestinal issues or these issues are a symptom of another health problem, our team can diagnose any underlying conditions and determine appropriate remedies.
Nutrition Advice & Treatment
Being over- or underweight can lead to medical problems for cats, or be a symptom of a deeper health issue. Our professionals help you understand what’s normal for your cat and recommend a quality balanced diet and activity level for your cat’s life stage, lifestyle, and health condition.
Orthopedic Evaluation & Treatment
Our teams perform assessments of your cat’s musculoskeletal and neurological systems using radiographs and other specific diagnostic tests to determine any structural issues in the bones, joints, ligaments, or tendons.
Parasite Elimination
Screening and treatment plans for parasites and infestations both internal and external, along with the secondary diseases they cause, can be identified by your vet and properly treated with medications and prevention methods.
End-of-Life Care
Knowing how and when to make end-of-life decisions for a beloved feline family member is difficult and often overwhelming. Our clinical staff will help you understand your pet’s current quality of life so you can make the best choices about end-of-life care. Before your appointment, we’ll explain what to expect during this sensitive visit. Then a staff member will help you make any choices related to the euthanasia process and aftercare before you arrive so you can concentrate on saying goodbye to your beloved family member with dignity and the comfort of your pet in mind.

Convenient Care Services
Microchipping
Microchips may be tiny, but they can have a huge impact on your peace of mind. Unlike a collar and tag, a microchip cannot be lost or removed. Vets, shelters, and animal control routinely scan stray cats and kittens for a microchip, so if your pet is ever found far from home, having a microchip will increase the chance they’ll be returned to you safe and sound. This simple device is inexpensive and takes just a few minutes to painlessly implant between your cat’s shoulder blades. It can be done while your cat is here for a routine visit or you can make an appointment with one of our techs and there will be no charge for the appointment – just the cost of the extremely affordable chip!
In-House & Online Pharmacy
From Our clinic features both an in-house pharmacy and online pharmacy access so you can choose whichever option is most convenient for you to fill any necessary prescriptions for your pet. The in-house option means you can take your pet’s medications home with you right after your appointment – no waiting to start treatment or need for a trip to the local CVS or Walgreens.
You can also easily request a refill online if it happens to be out of stock temporarily. You’ll be notified when it’s ready and may pick it up from us the next time you’re out and about.
Drop-Off Services
Life can be hectic and we want to make it as convenient as possible to fit your cat’s care into your busy schedule. Simply call to make an appointment or schedule online to determine your drop-off time. Your cat will be treated with the utmost care during their visit and your vet will call you to discuss their case. You’ll be able to breeze in and pick up your cat later that day.
Nail Trimming
If your kitty needs a nail trim and is current with their rabies vaccines with proof, you can call us to make an appointment to have their claws trimmed quickly and professionally for a minimum fee.

Surgical Services & Advanced Treatments
No matter if your pet needs a standard surgery like a spay, neuter, or dental extraction, or more specialized treatment for an illness or injury, our skilled veterinarians are prepared to provide them with the appropriate surgical care so they can live their best life.
Spaying & Neutering
Spaying and neutering prevent unwanted pregnancy and help control the pet population, but did you know they also help curb unwanted behaviors like spraying and fighting and reduce the likelihood of some cancers? They do!
These simple surgeries should be performed when kittens are around five months old or weigh two pounds, but are necessary procedures for all cats regardless of age.
Comprehensive Surgical Services
In addition to routine spay and neuter surgeries, our clinic offers a wide range of other surgical procedures to attend to your cat’s many needs.
Community Cat Clinic’s vet team can take care of everything from biopsies and removals of masses to amputations to exploratory surgery for more complex cases.
General Dentistry
Our veterinary teams provide professional dental cleanings to support your cat’s oral health and comfort.
More advanced , as well as gingival flap surgery, extractions, and other dental techniques if your cat needs them.
TNR Services
Community Cat Clinic offers spay and neuter of feral/community cats for trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs. The cost of surgery includes spay/neuter, rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia) vaccinations, and an ear tip, which is the internationally recognized symbol of a sterilized cat. Cats coming in for spay/neuter surgery are required to arrive in a humane trap (please see the link below for TNR protocols). If you don’t have a humane trap, one can be purchased at ACE, Home Depot, Lowes, or Amazon. There are several organizations in the area that loan humane traps; if you would like to borrow one, please see the link below.
If you are a colony caregiver, Community Cat Clinic can also provide ongoing support for your felines should they become ill or injured.

Diagnostics & Imaging
When your cat or kitten is suffering from an illness or injury, we use a variety of methods to determine the cause of any underlying abnormality that might be causing their symptoms.
Dental Digital X-Ray
If your cat is having dental problems, our digital X-ray machines help us see below the surface of the gum line and identify tooth root concerns. We can use those images to guide surgery to remove teeth that are negatively affecting your cat’s health or send them to specialists if necessary.
Digital Radiography
Our state-of-the-art digital radiography allows veterinarians to examine more than just your cat’s bones. Radiography also allows us to observe cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, and reproductive systems.
Laboratory Diagnostics
We offer both an in-house lab for same-day results and advanced lab services for more in-depth testing so we can help determine or rule out specific conditions affecting your pet.
Ultrasound Imaging
An ultrasound exam helps our veterinarians see inside your cat’s kidneys, liver, and other abdominal organs. We’ve teamed up with expert internists to diagnosis and monitor cysts, tumors and other abnormalities with this state-of-the-art diagnostic device.
